Ello Piano Service is a family owned business servicing the Greater Houston Area. We have customers in Sugar Land, Richmond, Rosenberg, Katy, Cinco Ranch, Fulshear, Simonton, Missouri City, Sienna Plantation, Stafford, the Medical Center, West University, Bellaire, Meyerland, Memorial, Spring Branch, the Heights, Downtown and Mid-Town Houston, the Galleria, West and Southwest Houston, and West Pearland.

          Michael Ello has been professionally tuning, repairing, appraising, and rebuilding pianos since 1981.  He and his son, Joshua Ello, are both Registered Piano Technicians and members of the Piano Technicians Guild (www.ptg.org). They have both passed a series of three rigorous examinations that assess the knowledge and skills required to tune, maintain and repair pianos. Cat Ello, wife and mom, handles the scheduling of appointments and manages the office and accounting.

          The PTG is the largest organization of its kind in the world and has established the only set of standards in North America for the tuning, regulation, maintenance and repair skills needed by a qualified piano technician. Registered Piano Technicians are professionals who have committed themselves to the continual pursuit of excellence, both in technical service and ethical conduct. Through affiliation with other technicians, manufacturers, suppliers and teaching associations, RPTs continue to enhance their knowledge and skills at conventions and local chapter meetings. 

          Our technicians carry a large number of piano parts in their service vehicles which allow for many types of onsite repairs.  While all pianos require regular tuning, normal maintenance includes cleaning, regulation, voicing or replacing hammers, bass and treble string replacement, action part repairs or replacement, damper felt replacement, pedal assembly repairs, re-pinning flanges, and unwanted noise elimination.  Over a period of time most pianos have the need for replacing worn key tops, sharps, and key bushings.  

Ello Piano Service offers:

     Touchrail installation to make the piano action “touch or feel” lighter and easier

     Voicing of the piano hammers to improve their tonal quality

     Finish touch up to repair piano finish damage

     Cleaning of soundboard, strings, and action and polishing brass pedals and knobs

     Rebuilding of the piano to make it like new again

     De-humidifying system installation by our certified Dampp Chaser technicians

     PianoDisc installation and repair by our certified PianoDisc technicians

     Water damage assessment and repair of pianos

     Piano accessories such as bench pads, polish, and caster cups for sale

          Our preferred method of payment at time of service is Zelle, Venmo, personal check, cash, or lastly, credit cards due to fees incurred.

          Ello Piano Service has tuned for concert artists and venues such as the Houston Symphony, the Fort Bend Symphony, the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts, Houston Grand Opera, Stafford Centre, Carol King, Michael W.
